Causes of Alopecia

 

 

 

 

 

Today many men have such problem as loss of hair from the  body or head, the name of this problem is Alopecia.
 But are what causes of Alopecia?
The causes of hair loss may be the next:

  •   Androgenic alopecia
  •   Chemical breakage:  frequent use of chemical relaxer
  •   Fungal infectio:  tinea capitis or “black dot” tinea
  •   Traction alopecia (chronic exposure to traction on hair shaft )
  •   Heat damage
  •   Hypothyroidism or hyper thyroidism;
  •   Trichotillomania (compulsive hair pulling)
  •   Telogen effluvium resulting from psychological or physical  stress
  •   Iron deficiency
  •   Secondary syphilis
  •   Dissecting cellulitis
  •   Lichenplanopilaris
  •   Genodermatoses or hereditary disorder of the hair shaft or
  •   Tufted folliculitis
  •   Pseudopelade of Brocq
  •   Keratosis follicularis spinulosa decalvansAlopecia mucinosa
  •  Chronic cutanous lupus erythematosus or discoid lupus erythematosus or
  •  Chemotherapy or adverse effect from medicines
  •  Hypervitaminosis A
  •  Radiation exposure or radiation therapy
